“INNOVATHON” is a 24 hours Virtual Hackathon organised by the Institution Innovation Council (IIC), K. J. Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology. The competition aims to bring all the innovative minds into a healthy competitive environment where they put in their best feet forward and gain exposure to solving intricate problem statements.

Rules

1. Teams must be composed of 1-4 people. Every member of the team must be a student of an university or a college. A team can have members from different colleges.
2. Atleast 1 member of the team should have a Git Account.
3. No participant will be allowed to take part unless they have their VALID college ID card
4. Participants are free to use open standard repositories, APIs and publicly available libraries.
5. Progress of the projects will be continuously tracked during Hackathon. Use of readymade code or precompiled code will lead to disqualification.
6. Participants are expected to behave professionally and responsibly.
7. Decisions made by organizers and judges will be final.
8. Only 5 of the competing teams will present their projects in the final round of judging at the end of the event.
